A historical cottage situated at Glebe Farm, Sithney could be reinstated under new plans.

Submitted by Cornwall Planning Group on behalf of Mr & Mrs M Ford (the applicants) - the plans are to convert and reinstate the cottage to form a dwelling house and associated works.

The former cottage is currently used for storage next to the main house.

A structural report on the building from Martin Perry Associates reads:

"In summary, both sections of the stone building were in good condition. Some maintenance will be required and upgrading of some areas in order to comply with Building Regulations, however, the building is generally structurally sound."

They also suggested a new roof structure and waterproofing of the building.

The status of the application is "awaiting decision".
