Person seriously injured after collision at Burras

There is an ongoing incident this afternoon on the B3297 between Helston and Redruth.

One person is believed to have been "seriously injured" following a two-vehicle collision at Burras, around 1:30pm.

The road is closed and motorists have been urged to seek an alternative route.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News: "Police were called at 1:30pm today to B3297 at Helston following reports of a two vehicle collision.

"One person is believed to have sustained serious injuries.

"The road has been closed and the incident is ongoing."
