Helston Weather: Warning issued with icy conditions expected

A yellow weather warning has been issued for Helston and the surrounding area as icy conditions are expected this weekend.

Snow and ice could cause travel disruption tonight and early Saturday.

What to expect? [.H2]
  • Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, increasing the likelihood of accidents and injuries.
  • Some roads and railways likely to be affected by snowfall, with longer journey times by car as well as bus and train services.

When snow or icy roads are forecast you should adjust your driving to suit the conditions and take extra care.
