What does the trust do? The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment - which is so very important for Olivia.

The Little Princess Trust has praised the children for taking on this huge challenge (419.43 miles), in such challenging circumstances.

Wendy Tarplee-Morris, The Little Princess Trust Founder, said:

"We are incredibly grateful to everyone taking part in Olivia's Icelandic Loop at Nansloe Academy.

"We are fully aware just how challenging it currently is to organise events and raise money for charity.

"So we were blown away to hear of the imagination and dedication of everyone involved with this brilliant idea – not to mention the huge amount of money raised.

"As a charity with no official fundraisers, this support is absolutely vital and means we can continue to provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people at a very difficult time in their lives.

"It also means we can fund research projects at leading scientific institutions focused on looking for kinder and more effective treatments for childhood cancers."
