Covid cases have dropped by 28% in Cornwall.

Cornwall Council has revealed a decrease in covid cases as they urged people to continue to follow the lockdown rules.

In the latest covid update over the weekend, Cornwall Council said there was a 28% decrease in cases in Cornwall from last week.

There were also 459 new cases in Cornwall over the last seven days, 129 patients in hospital, and 395 deaths in Cornwall since the pandemic began.

"Covid-19 cases in Cornwall are continuing to fall" [.H2]

A spokesperson for Cornwall Council said:

"We need everyone to keep following lockdown rules. Thank you to everyone who's doing this.

"The more we can bring our cases down, the less pressure our NHS will be under, and the faster we can get back to normal."
