Flora Cinema, Helston, will be aiming to reopen this month following the government's announcement that a large number of establishments can begin operating again.

The cinema has been closed since March 17th in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Merlin Cinemas, that have cinemas in Helston, Falmouth and more, said in a statement:

"Although Merlin Cinemas will not be aiming for early July, we hope to start reopening later in the month, in accordance with government guidelines, to ensure our staff are protected and our customers have a safe and enjoyable visit.

"We hope to share our plans with you in the coming weeks."
