Helston Athletic receive new grounds equipment following council grant

Yesterday, Helston Athletic Football Club received new grounds maintenance equipment.

Supported by Helston Town Council the equipment was brought with a grant of £1,500.

The news was revealed on social media with Helston AFC saying:

"Supported by a Helston Town Council grant of £1,500, Helston Athletic Football Club took delivery of three new items of essential grounds maintenance equipment. These included a new chain harrow, mower and strimmer.

"Helston Athletic Football Club wishes to thank Helston Town Council for its continued support along with that of equipment supplier Helston Trailers & Machinery."

Other organisations to benefit from the council grants were:

2nd Helston Brownies, Fishermen's Mission, Helston Bowling Club, Helston Theatre Company, Lizard CHILD Trust and Butterfly Wood.
