The incident broke out this morning near Falmouth and saw nearly 40 firefighters involved in the incident at its height

At 09.50 Critical Control received multiple emergency calls to a café on fire in the Falmouth area.
Initially two fire appliances from Falmouth Community Fire Station and two Officers attended the incident where they found the roof of the building fully involved in fire. Fire crews attempted to extinguish the fire using four breathing apparatus, a main jet and hosereel.
Fire crews from St Keverne and Helston were sent to the scene
A GORSE fire spanning 100 metres was tackled on the Lizard Peninsula yesterday evening.

St. Keverne were mobilised and on arrival found a gorse fire burning over a 100 metre front, further resources from Helston attended, the fire was fanned by strong winds, Crews used hosereels and beaters to extinguish.
