Maenporth, Falmouth at 28/05/2019 09:50At 09.50 Critical Control received multiple emergency calls to a café on fire in the Falmouth area.

Initially two fire appliances from Falmouth Community Fire Station and two Officers attended the incident where they found the roof of the building fully involved in fire. Fire crews attempted to extinguish the fire using four breathing apparatus, a main jet and hosereel.

Update @10.15 - Make pumps four request was received and further fire crews from Truro and Helston Community Fire Stations were mobilised along with specialist appliances from St Just and St Austell Community Fire Stations.

Update @ 12.15 - incident has now been scaled down and one appliance from Falmouth Community Fire Station is still in attendance damping down and monitoring the incident.
