A Ruan Minor furniture maker has been picked among various furniture makers and designers to produce the meeting tables that will be used by leaders at the G7 Summit in Carbis Bay to showcase the region's design work on the world stage.

Seven Cornish furniture makers from Helston to Bude have been asked to submit designs for the tables - which will all be sustainably sourced - by Tuesday, March 16th.

The next stage of the development.

A decision is set to be made after developers lodged a bid for more homes to be built at Park an Daras - with some residents voicing concerns over the next stage of the development.

The development is known as HX1 Helston Urban Extension, Robertson Developments has been working on an application for 68 new dwellings since September 2020 - but has only been validated this week and will go to a decision soon.
