Helston restaurant Whealdream and Cabs4U Helston have partnered up to bring a new delivery service to the town.

Whealdream will be offering the food delivery service from Friday (24th).

Barry Clark, Director of Whealdream Restaurant, said:

"We will be working alongside my brothers business Cabs4U Helston another local business and aim to get your delivery to you within an hour of the time you require your order, but of course we will do our best for a quicker turnaround.

"Our menu will be using local meats and vegetables where we can, so we too can support other local businesses wherever possible."

Barrys younger brother Neil owns the Whealdream Lodges which had to shut down, something Barry says was so "gutting" as they were due to be full over Easter.

Barry added:

"As a family, we have always supported each other and will continue to into the future. We are a very close family, myself and Jim have built up a successful catering company Whealdream catering and have lost most weddings this year but have supported the couples to rearranging for future dates. This has been hard financially but we are strong and will get through this battle.

"We have had time to think how we can get through this tough time and with our friends and great local support we feel that the new delivery service we are offering could be a chance to keep Whealdream alive.

"Hopefully you will see Jim Spratt and his team Cabs4U Helston moving around bringing Whealdream to your door.

"We hope this gives our friends and locals something to look forward to during this hard time and we thank you for your continued support."

The timings of the delivery service will be Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 5pm -9pm and Sunday (Roast Only) 12pm-6pm.

Whealdream is also in the process of setting up a new website so residents can order online.
