Thursday 5th May: A celebration of Cornish May Day

Three archival films exploring different customs from around the region will be shown alongside a recent documentary about the continuing traditions of Flora Day including the Hal an Tow.

As preparations get underway for Helston's Flora Day celebrations on Saturday 7 May, we are delighted that Hal an Tow Crier Jack Morrison has selected and will introduce a programme of short films exploring some of the many May Day and spring celebrations unique to communities in Cornwall with reference to a few further afield.

Friday 6th May: Disco Party with DJ Andy

DJ Andy in the house.

A night of party music from over the years. Expect a great atmosphere and lots of dancing.

Friday 6th May: Helston Flora Fun Fair

Anderton and Rowlands Fun Fair is proud to return to Helston in support of the annual Flora Day.

Thrill rides, inflatables, children's rides, plus games and stalls.

Saturday 7th May: Helston Flora Day 2022

In top hats and tails, bright-colored gowns, and traditional white dresses, the people of Helston will dance the furry dance through the streets once more after a two-year break due to the pandemic.

Sunday 8th May: Sunday Roasts and Sax

Join us for Sunday Lunch today and relax to the mellow sounds of the saxophone with Lynney Freeflow.
