Body found in search for James ‘Frank’ Parsons

The body of a man has been found in the search for James Parsons.

James Parsons, 53, also known as 'Jimmy', 'Frank', or 'Fran' was last seen on Friday 22nd April, at Porthleven Food Festival.

In an update, Devon and Cornwall Police said a body had been discovered on Wednesday 4th May.

A police spokesperson commented:

"Police were contacted by HM Coastguard with a report that a body had been located and recovered from the sea off St Mary's, at the Isles of Scilly, at around noon on Wednesday (4th).

"The family of Mr Parsons have been informed of the discovery.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
