A yellow weather warning has been issued to the Helston community this weekend with heavy rain forecast.

Motorists are being urged to be wary as heavy rain could lead to surface water flooding and transport disruption - this will continue from Friday (19th) and Sunday (21st).

What to expect?

- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.

- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.

- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.

- Some interruptions to power supplies and other services are possible.
