UPDATE: Residents urged to keep windows and doors shut due to Porthleven workshop fire

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have issued more details into the cause of a fire in Porthleven this afternoon.

Images were shared of a premises well alight today on Wellington Road with emergency services on the scene.

Crews from Helston, Mullion and two flexi-duty officers were tasked to reports of a workshop fire in Porthleven.

On arrival, the crews discovered a single-storey workshop and three garages to be alight.

Support from Tolvaddon, Penzance and Falmouth is en route.

Residents are being urged to keep windows and doors closed at this time due to the thick smoke in the area.
