UPDATE: One man arrested following violent assault in Helston

In an update provided by police, it has been revealed that a man has been arrested following an assault in Meneage Street.
Earlier this evening Nub News reported on the disturbance after residents reported seeing a naked man trashing Superdrug.
A spokesperson for Falmouth and Helston Police said:
"One male has been arrested after violently assaulting multiple people in Helston Town Centre.
"The male is being taken to Treliske Hospital by ambulance and escorted by Police due to concerns that he has taken a mixture of illegal substances."
