Police in Helston following disturbance on Meneage Street

Meneage Street is blocked this evening following a disturbance in the town.

Early reports suggest that police were called to Superdrug, a resident reported a "naked man" trashing the store.

A spokesperson for Falmouth Police said:

"We are dealing with an incident in Meneage Street in Helston. The road is blocked with emergency vehicles. Please be patient whilst we resolve the situation."
