Three children seriously injured after collision in St Keverne

Three children were treated for serious injuries after a collision in St Keverne yesterday afternoon.

Two children were airlifted to Bristol Royal Hospital, and one was taken to Treliske after the crash on the B3293.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Zoar Garage at around 3pm.

A white Ford Transit van driven by a 47-year-old man collided with a red Peugeot 206 driven by a 32-year-old woman and containing three children.

The female driver was also taken to Treliske with "significant injuries", the man was treated for minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team and forensic collision investigators attended the scene along with local officers.

"Police are appealing for any witnesses of the collision, or anyone with any dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.

"Call 101, or email [email protected], quoting log 485 of 11/08/21."
