Tesco have revealed further details following a fire at the Helston store this morning.

Images shared this morning by local resident Steve Hann showed the fire service situated outside Tesco, Clodgey Lane, with the fire reportedly starting from a machine inside Timpsons.

A spokesperson for Tesco commented:

"Our Helston Superstore was closed for around 30 minutes this morning due to a small fire confined to the Timpson unit. The store is now open and trading as normal."

No injuries were reported and shoppers were soon allowed back in.
