Police have issued a fresh appeal to locate a man who went missing from Porthleven Food Festival.

James Parsons, 53, also known as 'Jimmy', 'Frank', or 'Fran' was last seen at 7pm on Friday 22nd April, around the Harbour Head area.

He is described as a white male, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He has brown/grey wavy hair which is balding at the back and is clean shaven. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and a black hoodie.

This morning (26th) Devon and Cornwall Police urged people to check their properties as the search continues for James.

The force added:

"Officers are appealing for residents in the Porthleven area to check their gardens, sheds, garages and any insecure outbuildings as searches continue for missing man, James Parsons.

"James, also known as 'Frank', 'Fran' and 'Jimmy', was last seen in Porthleven on Friday 22 April at around 7pm wearing shorts and a hoodie.

"Anyone who sees James or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 223 24/4/22."
