There will be a road closure in Gweek next week to provide a safe working area for a poletest.

The work will be on Bonallack Lane to the entrance to Farmoor House - with a diversion from Gweek to Constantine Road.

The Council is permitting the order because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to an overhead structure.

A spokesperson for Cormac said:

"The Order will come into operation on 20th December 2020 and the works are expected to be completed on the same day.

"The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530.

"Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

"Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained."
