Personnel at RNAS Culdrose have come together to clap in their support for Gabe Judge.

Gabriel 'Gabe' Judge from Illogan, near Redruth, has cerebral palsy and a wide range of health issues including difficulty walking and with his eyesight.

However, the 21-year-old has vowed, with the assistance of a walking frame, to walk 2.6 miles each day for 10 days to raise cash for the charity Scope.

A spokesperson for RNAS Culdrose said:

"Leading Hand Lewis Roberts from the Culdrose's fire station said he knew the boy's father was a former navy man and they wanted to send Gabe all their best as he completes his charity walk today. Sailors from the fire station, Royal Naval School of Flight Deck Operations and 814 Naval air Squadron all came together to show their support."
