Nearly 600 people attended a recent consultation in the Guildhall which outlined plans to transform Helston's high streets.
The two-day consultation took place last week - a chance for people to see the plans in full.
Among them, reducing traffic through the town, resurface and restore roads, widen street pavements, and a new hopper bus service.
As reported recently, work has been progressing on projects which are now ready for public input in preparation for the recently announced Levelling Up Fund bid.
As well as the 583 people who attended the consultation, there were also 1,000 questionnaires completed and over 200 people viewed the consultation documents online via the Discover Helston website.
David Turnbull, from Helston CIC, said:
"The most impressive part for me was the amount of time people spent reading and discussing all of the information - really shows how much people care about their town. If you have a chance, please express our thanks to everyone who came along and participated - their input is much appreciated.
"The completed questionnaires are being analysed professionally (and independently) by PFA Research in Falmouth in order to generate a formal report - probably a couple of weeks' time. We'll then consider how this affects the project proposals."
