A 32-year-old woman from Helston sustained minor injuries to her face and neck in an incident which occurred near Idless Woods off the B3284 near Truro, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Thursday 5th December.

Police are particularly interested in hearing from a male jogger who may have witnessed the assault.

The jogger is thought to be of medium build and in his late 40s, possibly with fair hair, and wearing a blue top and blue shorts.

A 30-year-old man from Truro has been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed until 3rd January.
