A new food venture is being set up in Helston serving Thai food from a home kitchen.

Swage Grab-N-Go will launch on Tuesday 7th July.

Athikom Jeerapairotekun will be cooking two dishes each evening with 20 portions available and collections from 4:30pm to 9pm on three days a week – collection only on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

"I want to share my passion for good Thai food with you," he said in an announcement.

Some of the dishes include Crayfish Fried Rice, Salmon Stir Fried with Ginger, Masaman Curry, and Chicken Kaprao, among others. There are also vegetarian options.

Athikom added: "I look forward to cooking authentic Thai food with a Cornish twist for you. I've imported lots of ingredients from Thailand to ensure an authentic taste but be prepared for hot spice with my Krapao dishes."

The description of the new business reads: "Swage has opened in Helston as a home kitchen to share our passion for real, honest tasty Thai inspired food. Swage is an old British dialect word that means to take in food, to let your stomach settle and, most importantly, to relax after a good meal."
