Ced's Bagels, Porthleven, has opened this weekend and sooner than planned after final tweaks were added.

Ced's Bagels will be based in between the open market hall and the new Shoals Brewery.

Owned by former chef Cedric Ziegler 27, will be offering hand-rolled artisan bagels with fresh ingredients, something different for the town, and a quick tasty lunch option.

Sharing the news on social media, Cedric added:

"Opening weekend, who is keen for a bagel?"

The shop is open from this weekend, Saturday and Sunday (10th, 11th July), 11:30am - 2:30pm.

It will also be possible to buy bags of bagels to take home and you will be able to purchase other bread products in the near future.

Then next week, the opening hours will be Wednesday to Sunday, 11:30am - 2:30pm.
