Local photographer captures Storm Eunice in Porthleven
Pictures have been shared of how Storm Eunice affected Porthleven over the weekend.
Taken by Richard Cooper of Cornwall in Focus - the images show huge waves overtopping into rocks, cars, and trees blocking the roads.
The storm resulted in fallen trees and damage to buildings, tiles blown from roofs, plus cuts to power and mobile phone coverage, and transport disruption.
Richard commented:
"Porthleven never lets you down when it comes to storms and Eunice has certainly been putting on a show. Not the biggest waves I've seen at Plev but that wind was something else."
