Local fire crews were tasked to another gorse blaze - the fourth fire in The Lizard in a matter of days.

Teams from St. Keverne and Mullion moved to tackle a fire behind Zoar Garage.

There have been numerous fires around The Lizard in recent days, one on Sunday near Predannack Airfield.

Crews used fire breaks and beaters to extinguish the flames. Two major appliances, one from St Keverne and one from Mullion.

Two 4X4 appliances from St Keverne and Mullion were also used.

Also, a co-responder van from Mullion was mobilised to allow extra personnel to assist with the incident.
