Local fire teams battle with large gorse blaze in St Keverne

This evening local fire crews have been fighting a gorse blaze in Zoar, St Keverne - made worse by the high winds.

Appliances were called out at around 8:30pm from St Keverne, Mullion and Helston Fire Stations, along with a Water Carrier from Helston and two additional Flexi Duty Officers.

They are using hose reels and beaters to try to fight the fire. More details when we have them.
