Lizard CHILD Trust secures National Lottery Funding

This week it was announced that the Lizard CHILD Trust had been successful in the application of National Lottery Funding.

The community initiative will receive £22,918, giving the charity a huge boost.

The funds will help them to provide holiday spaces for vulnerable children and also update their IT system.

A spokesperson for the Lizard Child Trust said:

"We are delighted to share with you that we have been successful in our National Lottery Funding application.

"In total, we look forward to receiving £22,918.00 - this will make a tremendous difference to our charity and all the children and families we support.

"The funds will enable us to provide holiday spaces for vulnerable children, and also update our hardworking IT system (which may be a huge relief to many of you)."

In a statement, they also praised the ongoing support for the charity.

Helston Town Council added:

"A huge congratulations to Lizard Child Trust in their success in their National Lottery Funding application."
