The latest crime figures released by police show how many crimes were committed in Helston and the wider area in March.

In Helston and the wider area, around 70 crimes were committed in March up from Februarys figure of 42.

Helston 70 crimes

Violence and sexual offences - 24

Anti-social behaviour - 18

Criminal damage and arson - 10

All other crime - 18

Porthleven 54 crimes

Anti-social behaviour - 17

Violence and sexual offences - 15

Criminal damage and arson - 9

All other crime - 13

Lizard 19 crimes

Violence and sexual offences - 9

Anti-social behaviour - 4

Burglary - 2

All other crime - 4
