Helston Town Council has released an email subscription that will notify interested residents of the latest litter picks and town tidies.

The tidies will be taking place on weekdays and weekends, spending two to three hours in one area.

A spokesperson for the council said: "You are welcome to join us for an hour or can stay for the duration of the tidy.

"We can provide hi-viz jackets, gloves, litter picking tools and rubbish bags but you can bring your own if you prefer."

Litter has been a big issue for Helston residents.

Helston RFC recently spoke out about the mass amounts of litter that had been left on their grounds.
