Back home again – family waited eagerly at RNAS Culdrose to welcome back their loved ones from 814 Naval Air Squadron's Mohawk Flight.
The crew has been away for four months on deployment with the frigate HMS Northumberland, patrolling UK waters.
The flight's Merlin Mk2 helicopter emerged from the low cloud to land again at the Cornish air station.
Some of the squadron engineers also hitched a ride home while the remainder return with their stores on board the ship to the naval base at Devonport.
