Helston Weather: Yellow warning issued with heavy rain forecast

A yellow weather warning has been issued for Helston and the rest of Cornwall with heavy rain expected this week.

Spells of heavy rain could lead to travel disruption and flooding in some places.

The warning is in place from tomorrow until Thursday evening.

What to expect?

  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.
  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.

•Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer

Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.
