'An incredible journey': Helston resident completes 100 mile charity cycle challenge

Gemma Priest, the self-proclaimed "crazy lady" who took on a 100-mile charity cycle through August, has completed the challenge.
Gemma Priest cycled from 1st - 16th in-between working and caring for her family.
Gemma managed to rack up 205.9 miles on the bike, many more miles than she set out to achieve.
Gemma was cycling to inspire support and raise funds for Sense.
Gemma told Nub News:
"The past 16 days have been an incredible journey. I was not sure if I would complete 100 miles let alone over 200, 100 of those covered in just a single day. its been a very busy couple of weeks with working, family etc.
"I feel extremely grateful for all the support I've had and to the amazing people that kept me company on parts of this epic adventure.
"Thank you once again to everyone who has already donated your donation makes the miles worthwhile and goes straight to sense to help pay for the work they do helping people who have complex disabilities and their families.
"I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to enjoy the beauty of Cornwall. this challenge has made me realise just how important the great outdoors is for the mind."
