Photos have been shared of new overgrown 'wild' areas in Coronation Park, Helston.

The park has explained how they have allowed the grassy areas and woodland to grow more than usual, helping to create a better park ecosystem and habitat for wildlife.

A spokesperson for Coronation Park, said:

"Wonderful wildflowers - we have chosen to leave some of our grassy areas and our woodland walk grow a little more 'wild' than usual, these areas provide great habitats for pollinators, beneficial insects and wildlife and generally create a better park ecosystem, as well as looking pretty."
