Helston Athletic: Special Christmas donation to local foodbank

The Helston Mustard Seed Foodbank is Helston Athletics' chosen charity, the club even proudly displays the logo on the sleeve of each of their teams.

The club collects donations every week to be handed over to the food bank and has done for a number of years.

Paul Hendy the club's chairman was clearly proud of what they have been able to donate, he said: "Christmas is always a bumper collection but the member have done the club proud this week."

Focusing back on the football, Helston will be back in action on Boxing day as they travel away to Mousehole for a 12:00 pm kick-off.

Helston currently sits in 6th place with 29 points while Mousehole is in 4th with 36 points.
