Helston: Announcement made on Flora Day 2022

The organisers of Flora Day have said events will go ahead next year covid depending.

The Flora Day association met last week to discuss Flora Day 2022, and they agreed to push on with the event.

It has been hit by two cancelled years due to covid but residents will be excited to hear plans are underway for a big return.

The Flora Day Association has begun posting events ahead of next year Saturday 7th May, the event reads:

"In top hats and tails, bright-coloured gowns, and traditional white dresses, the people of Helston will dance the furry dance through the streets once more after a two-year break due to the pandemic."

Events have also been listed for the Morning and Evening Dance rehearsal at 7:30pm on Thursday, May 5th.

The Midday Dance rehearsal will be at 7:30pm on Friday, May 6th.
