There have been reports of a two-vehicle accident this afternoon in Helston.

Reports suggest the B3297 has been blocked both ways and the accident has caused heavy traffic.

The reported incident has taken place between Hellescoth Way and Water Ma Trout.

The Kernow Weather Team confirmed the report on social media saying:

"The B3297 in Helston at the Water ma Trout mini-roundabout is partially blocked by a two-vehicle accident.

"Police not yet on the scene. Queues are building on all approaches."
