Fire rips through house near St Keverne
Fire crews from across Cornwall are tackling a fire in Zoar.
Crews from across Cornwall are battling a large house fire in Zoar, near St Keverne.
The fire was reported this evening (29th) at 5:45pm.
Fire appliances from St Keverne, Mullion, Helston, Falmouth, Truro along with two water carriers from Helston, Wadebridge and an Incident Command Unit from St Just were called out to attend the blaze.
Crews reported a large plume of smoke on route to the premise and immediately requested pumps and water carriers.
An update was issued at 8:19pm saying that the incident was beginning to scale back - with only three major appliances and one water carrier remaining at the scene.
A fire investigation is due to be carried out in the morning.
