Dog bans reintroduced on Cornwall beaches

A reminder for local dog walkers that the bans have come back in.

A reminder for Helston dog owners that the ban on dogs on Cornwall beaches has been reintroduced this week, May 15th.

The ban applies to a selection of beaches with more set to come in July - all restriction times are uniform across all beaches as agreed by Cornwall Council.

The beaches with bans from May 15th are as follows:

Crackington Haven, Bude, 15 May - 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Crooklets Beach, Bude, 15 May - 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth, 15 May - 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Porth Beach, Porth, 15 May to 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Porthmeor Beach, St Ives, 15 May - 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Porthminister Beach, St Ives, 15 May - 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Porthtowan Beach, Porthtowan, 15 May – 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Sennen Beach, Sennen, 15 May – 30 September, 10am – 6pm.

Trevone Beach, Padstow, 15 May – 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Widemouth Beach, Bude, 15 May – 30 September, 10am - 6pm.

Beaches such as Cadgwith, Church Cove, and Housel Bay will bring back bans in July.
