The Culdrose Military Wives Choir shared on social media that there would be another chance to watch a film that they were a part of, on national television this weekend.

After their rise to fame over the festive period, for helping create Sailing Home for Christmas the charity single that was shared by many online including tv star Bear Grylls, the group are now back on our screens again.

This Saturday the 25th of February at 21:00 PM, Channel 4 will be featuring the film 'Military Wives'. The film tells the story of how groups like the Culdrose Military Wives Choir started,

It is a fictional film that is based on a true story, inspired by a TV series/ documentary where Gareth Malone encourages wives & partners of serving personnel to start singing together.

Culdrose Military Wives Choir were invited to be a part of the soundtrack for the film, and they were recorded singing 'We are Family' on the base. The song plays at the end of the film and if you look closely there's a small photo of the group in the montage of all military wives' choirs at the very end.

Representatives from all choirs were invited to London to record songs for a CD that people can purchase as well as the DVD, which you can find here: Military Wives.

Culdrose MWC all went to Truro for a preview showing when the film was first released & representatives of choirs were invited to the red carpet event in London.

A spokesperson for the choir told Nub News: "It's a fantastic film, I hope that you & your readers enjoy the film as much as we have."
