The Porthleven Coastguard Team were tasked early this morning to reports of an individual that had fallen from a cliff at Tye Rock.

Just after 6am this morning the Porthleven Coastguard conducted a search for the individual.

A spokesperson for Porthleven Coastguard Team said:

"Team paged at 6:11 to a casualty fallen over cliffs near Tye Rock.

"The team carried out a search and found the casualty back at the top of the cliff with minor injuries."

Assisted by Mullion Coastguard, they added:

"Thanks to Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team for the backup. Sorry to have got you up."
