Coastguard respond to reports of unattended climbing equipment near the Lizard

Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked this morning to reports of some unattended climbing equipment.
The equipment was spotted near Crane Ledges, Lizard.
A spokesperson for the rescue team said:
"The team carried out a local area search to find the equipment and found it was in use by a local climbing group who were out of sight at the base of the cliff.
"Team stood down and returned to station."
