'Keep Helston Tidy': How you can get involved with the towns clean up team

Sunday saw a local clean up group take to the town to give it a spring clean.
Keep Helston Tidy is an initiative that takes place on weekdays and weekends spending 2-3 hours in one area to keep the town looking clean.
The team took to Trengrouse Lower Car Park over the weekend picking up lots of rubbish.
Helston Town Council said:
"Volunteers filled 14 bags yesterday despite the hot and humid weather but at least we escaped the rain and thunderstorms.
"Our next event is Wednesday 26th August 2-4.30pm at Tyacke Road car park."
Keep Helston Tidy provides hi-viz jackets, gloves, litter picking tools and rubbish bags.
