You will still be able to get your DIY, gardening essentials and decorating products during lockdown as Bowden's Home Hardware announces it will be staying open during lockdown.
As an essential business Bowden's, Market Place will be remaining open with new restrictions in place.
- Two customers in the shop at a time.
- Face covering in the shop.
- Hand sanitiser upon entry.
Announcing the news yesterday evening, a spokesperson for Bowden's said:
"In light of the Prine Minister's announcement this evening, we will be reverting to counter service only from opening tomorrow morning. As before, we will collect your items for you, and the majority of the shop will be closed to customers.
"We will only, therefore, be able to accommodate a maximum of two customers in the shop at any one time, and would therefore request that you shop alone wherever possible.
"We would also request that you put on an appropriate face covering before you enter the shop (unless exempt) and that you apply either your own, or our hand sanitiser upon entry.
"This is a fast-moving situation, and we are awaiting advice from our suppliers about their arrangements for deliveries to us. We would ask you to bear with us, particularly in the first few days, whilst they put procedures in place.
"We really appreciated your support during the last two lockdowns, and we will do our very best to get you the items you need."
