The owner of Headrush Gifts has told Nub News of her delight upon reopening the shop.
Based on Coinagehall Street, Amanda Holgate has been pleased with the support of the community having one of her best days in the shop recently.
Helston's Headrush, which sells paintings, handmade gifts, furniture and cards reopened on the 3rd December following a month-long lockdown, "it is nice to see lots of lovely people coming in again," Amanda said.
Speaking on the last month she told Nub News:
"The last day of lockdown was absolutely amazing it was one of my best days in the shop, reopened this week and again it was amazing.
"I have my online shop, the online shop is only if it is click and collect, I have sold quite a bit so people have been really supportive.
"I get started and I think everything is going good and then we close and go into lockdown. But I have come back, got some new stock and I am still selling lots of things which is brilliant, it is not a lot but at least I am not going backwards very happy to be back open thankyou."
Thinking of future plans Amanda is switching over to homemade crafts instead of commission work, she added:
"I buy the crafts from people, I don't do commission work so it is nice to see a good quality artist, they come in and I buy a certain amount off of them and that is nice for the artist, it is a really lovely atmosphere and the sellers are a lot happier."
