On social media this morning the chairman of Helston Rugby Club shared images of broken glass left in the dugout in an act of "blatant vandalism."

Litter was dropped across the field, glass smashed on the club patio and parents have been urged to stop their children visiting the club, "this is not acceptable and will no longer be tolerated," Helston RFC Chairman Jason Bardell said.

Jason continued:

"Can we please we ask all the parents of children and adolescents that are visiting HelstonRFC during this period to stop them from doing so, with immediate effect.

"We have endeavoured to support their need for some form of shelter in our dugouts but this blatant vandalism, which is endangering our players must stop.

"As a parent of four, I am well aware of how difficult it is to keep track of them but I do, it's called parenting.

"Please stop them now."
