Your Voice: Mental health charity fundraiser "smashed"

Mental health charity Your Voice has reached its fundraising target and will now look at the next steps.

Recently we brought the news that Your Voice had been approved for funding from the Cornwall Social Inclusion Fund.

The charity needed to raise the first £300 of the £3,000 target, and the last £300.

It was revealed this week that the fundraiser has been "smashed" in a short time thanks to generous donations.

Founder of Your Voice Natasha Long said:

"The CrowdFunder for Your Voice, Cornwall CIC has been smashed thanks to the incredible generosity of my gorgeous ones at The Rodney Inn, The Red Lion, some other wonderful members of our community and an anonymous donor.

"This means that we will secure the funding matches by CrowdFunder, taking us to £3000 and enable us to start seriously looking for our first shop.

"I'm a mixed bag of happiness, gratitude, excitement and emotional.

"Thank you to everyone who donated, shared and continues to support us."
