Police seize vehicle in Helston after driver claims to "not know" licence status

Police in Helston seized a vehicle last night after it was found the driver had a revoked licence.
The driver claimed to "not know" the status of their licence, for which the police said there was no excuse.
A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Roads Policing Team said:
"This vehicle was seized as the driver had a revoked licence. Vehicle also had no MOT.
"Driver reported in the Helston area this evening."
